Voice is an NFT platform with a mission to democratise the art world by removing the gatekeepers and lowering the barriers of entry.
The ask was to take Voice to Art Basel Miami Beach, part of Miami Art Week. It’s a cornerstone event of the art world, but it is also exclusionary, private, and offers art for the few, not the masses.
So how can a digital art platform like Voice capture some of the excitement surrounding Miami Art Week, while staying true to their democratic approach?
Subvert the exclusionary nature of art fairs by taking Voice, and their accessible model of buying, selling, and collecting digital art straight to the people.
There are 11 Miami’s worldwide, 10 of which are excluded from Art Basel each year. So this year, we decided to host our own Art Week in one of the many Miamis that miss out; Miami Arizona.
Together with a local gallery and artists, we curated an exhibition of digital art and invited everyone to come and see it.
