In the Netherlands, we are short of as many as 13,500 teachers in primary and secondary education. Although everyone wants to do something that matters, not many graduates choose to become a teacher. How do we ensure that teaching is seen as the impactful career it is?
Teaching is a very human thing. Because we’re doing a copy-based campaign, we’re humanising it by having the headlines drawn by hand. Typographer and artist Guido de Boer ‘painted’ 14 headlines for the campaign, and painted giant murals on the university buildings throughout the country.
