In another content push for MOCA, we created an animated short in collaboration with artist Gary Baseman and South-African duo Die Antwoord. The Buckingham Warrior is a tale inspired by Garyʼs father Ben Baseman who survived the holocaust, fighting the Nazi invasion in Ukraineʼs birch tree forest for almost 4 years.

The Buckingham Warrior character is a defender of strong ideals and a stark reminder to the fragility of our own ecology. He represents the real life heroes who pushed back against Nazi tyranny in WWII.
