MAKE SOMETHING FROM NOTHING

Red Stripe is the legendary beer from Kingston, Jamaica with a long history in music and DIY culture. It’s this last element – from the streets of Jamaica, through the punk era, to the digital landscape of today – that inspired the launch of “Make with a Red Stripe”, a series of ongoing, collaborative projects. These include a sound system made out of 10,000 Red Stripe cans recycled from the Notting Hill Carnival. Future projects will utilize art, music and film, all celebrating Red Stripe’s makeshift creative culture.
